Maiyannah Bishop Protector 101 really has found their calling in this sort of deeply-moody, soundtrack music. I've often said that life isn't about finding yourself, it's about stripping away the things that aren't you, and likewise, Protector 101 seems to have really found their stride by distilling their previous synth down to this moody and moving collection of tracks. I could sit and listen to Program all night long. Definitely one to pick up if a more minimalist, science-fiction sort of synth is your fancy Favorite track: Program.

kmxexii P101 finds his true passion - soundtrack music. Solitary Star has tones of sci-fi and... suspense in the dark side of space. This album trends toward the ambient, but the artist is a master of establishing a mood. "Dream" has a deliciously lo-fi feel, like something from the 70s. "Program" and "Star" are the closest it gets to actual songs, with "Star" transitioning from mystery to majesty in its second half. The rest of the tracks are more incidental but no less tense, excepting "Escape". Favorite track: Star.
